Virginia Mega Millions Player Wins $200M - See Friday 10/16/09 Results

The winning Mega Millions numbers for Friday Oct 16, 2009 were:

In this drawing, Lottery Power Picks recommended 671 combinations. Of these, we had 16 winners: (6) mb, (8) mb+1w, (1) mb+2w, and (1) 3w, returning $53 back to our players. Our 5 number pool had 1,458,550 combinations. The first other winning combos were located at:

  • 3-w + MB @ # 7,549
  • 4-w @ # 9,788
  • 5-w @ # 59,317
There was one MM jackpot winner from Virginia so the jackpot resets to $12 million with a cash option of $7.5M and a yield of 4.23%

    I wish I could say I won the $200 million, but actually I don't live in Virginia.

    Yeah, I wish it was me too! So, all I can do is have belief in my Lottery Power Picks and hope that playing $5/drawing will one day (and hopefully soon) have the winning combination!

Note: Based on the results of our Poll , we decided to recommend all Power & Mega balls in every drawing after Octorber 22, 2007. This change will make these lotteries consistent with the International and other "mega" ball based lotteries.
