Try Our New Lottery Power Picks Beta Website

We've been very busy the past few months rewriting our website. Although it is not yet complete, we believe that it has sufficient functionality that will be of major benefit to you. Therefore we are releasing the Beta version of it for your use. You can access it at:

At present, it is missing many descriptive titles and definitions. But, the analytical content is mostly complete and we believe it is fully accurate.

You can access each of our covered lotteries using the collapsible menu bar on the left of the page. Simply click on a title and you will see the lotteries under that category. Then, click on the lottery game you wish to view. Once done, you will be presented with 6 tabs across the top of the page which will give you various statistics, graphs, advice, and more.

If you are already a member, you may log in to the system and obtain our recommended Lottery Power Picks.

We have not yet added the "Join" functionality. This means that if you are new to the system,  you will have to join using our legacy home page.

We hope you try out our site and find its content useful. Over the upcoming months, you will see new content being added and the blanks being filled in.

Five notes though:
  1. The site relies heavily on javascript, which means that more computing will be preformed locally on your computer.
  2. The site is best viewed using: Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.
  3. It doesn't work thoroughly on IE. Thus, we recommend you use one of the 3 browsers above.
  4. The "Change View" pull down menu functionality is not complete yet.
  5. Pick 3 lottery analysis is not completed either.
Let us know what you think!

Labor Day Weekend Delay Notice

We will be celebrating our web site's 5th year anniversary this weekend by enjoying the Labor Day weekend at our parents farm in northeastern Pennsylvania.

During our past 4th of July visit, we found that access to internet services was spotty at best. Thus, we expect to experience the same conditions and may not be able to update the Saturday night lottery results until we arrive home on Sunday evening or Monday morning.

While we are away, we will make every effort to update the results.

In addition, we will not be posting the Saturday night Powerball results on this blog until Monday.

With the passing of the weekend, summer's officially over.

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday everyone!

Delayed Christmas Results

Once again, we will be traveling to visit our family in Pennsylvania this 2010 Christmas Holiday Weekend.

We may not have internet access, and therefore may not be able to publish our regular lottery results or blog posts with Friday or Saturday results.

We plan to return on Sunday, December 26th, and will update all results by late that evening.

Please note that this interruption will not affect your ability to obtain your Free Lottery Power Picks for the various Friday and Saturday lotteries.

Thank-you for your patience and understanding,

Merry Christmas to All

Lottery Leads UK Searchs in 2010

According to Metro.co.uk, the word "Lottery" was the thing that UK Brits searched for most in 2010 on Yahoo. This was followed by the term "Job Centre" and "Weather" was third.

According to the article, the poor economy has pushed the people to experience many money worries. Everywhere, people are hoping to secure their future by winning a substantial prize and climbing out of debt.

For those of us who specialize in providing lottery related information, we are not surprised. After all, rising costs, layoffs, and unemployment are being experienced on both the North American and European continents. People everywhere are having financial difficulties, and both the National and State operated lotteries offer players the opportunity to resolve their financial woos, with little capital outlay. Let's see if the same terms are as popular in the United States as well!

Everybody Wants Your Money - Don't Give It to Them!

Hook, Line, Sinker (How I fell for a phishing ...Image by ToastyKen via Flickr
I've been amazed by the number of articles written in the newspapers and online about people falling victim to lottery scammers. Typically, they are elderly folks who believe that they are either helping someone out or that they are actually winners of some remote foreign lottery or sweepstakes.

There are many variations of the same scheme: A victim is targeted and told that they have either won a lottery or that they can share in a lottery prize. First, however, they must give the criminals money to show their good faith. Once the money has been given, the victim never sees the thieves again.

However, the lottery is only one of the bait tools. More recently, crooks are dangling hopes of employment, credit repair, and other such decoys.

Further, these ruthless crooks try various means of contacting the victims. They'll use the phone, e-mail, postal mail, or personal contact.

What's truly amazing is the number of folks who fall for such nonsense. And, it seems, that once you're on their list, you're always being targeted.

While we're in the business of trying to help folks win, our services are 100% free. Our motto is:

Never, Never, Never
Give Anyone Your Money!

While the global economy remains in the tank, people often revert to desperate hopes for receiving income.

But remember, the money you have is yours. You worked hard for it. Keep it for yourself. And never fall for such scams!

As the Labor Day Holiday ends, we in the U.S. officially mark the Summer of 2010 as completed. Our children return to school, and most vacations are over.

To us, the Fall season begins with a flurry of undeniable excitement, with High School and College sport seasons beginning.

We hope that everyone had an enjoyable and fun summer and we all look forward to the return of the Fall.

Improved Hot Cold Lottery Number Analysis Navigation

NEW YORK - FEBRUARY 01: President and CEO of ...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
We recently added a new pull-down menu button to all of our Hot Cold Lottery Number Identification pages to help players more easily find the same analysis for all our covered lottery games.

Once the page is fully loaded, the button is located in the upper left region of the screen, just below the current jackpot levels.

To use, simply click on the button, move your cursor down to the desired game, and click.

In our testing, the button functions properly in Firefox and IE 7.0. To view in action, visit the example page:

From there, you should be able to navigate to Powerball, Lotto 649, Lotto Max, etc.

At present, we have completed building our historic databases of both, and have added these to our Lottery Power Picks gadget (under the choice of Texas).

Once we make sure that all is updating properly, we will add the Hot - Cold Analysis pages, and all other reference pages. Lastly, we will make these available to you so that you can get and play the new Texas Lottery Power Picks.

We'll keep you posted as to our progress.

Three Cheers for the Butler Bulldogs

I'm a Syracuse fan. I don't play the brackets and am not a huge basketball fan.

But, when the Butler Bulldogs defeated the Orange, I knew that Butler was a special team!

My family & I sat glued to the remaining NCAA games that Butler played, and cheered them on. We were thrilled that they made it to the Final Game.  And once again, Butler didn't disappoint. They played like champions.

Although they lost the game, the Bulldogs captured the imagination of all America. To this, we wish to congratulate:
  • The Entire Bulldog team
  • The Coach
  • The Mascot
  • The Cheering Squad & Band
  • All University's Administration
  • And, all the Student Body
You need to be proud of your acheivements and we all look forward to following your team in the following seasons. Remember:

You may have lost the Final Game

but

You Captured Our Hearts!

Thanks for the memories,

JL..........

Sporting a New Image

During the past week, we learned that Google released a new Template Designer. After playing with it awhile, we became over zealous and tried out all the new layouts and backgrounds available. Finally, we fell in love with this new vibrant pattern.

We're still in the process of reorganizing the sidebar and footer, so we expect slight changes to continue be made.

Like playing the lottery, we believe that visiting blogs should be fun, and we hope this new image entertains you as well!

Let us know what you think!

As you enjoy this Memorial Day, take a moment to reflect on the brave sacrifices of the men and women in uniform who risked and gave their lives so that we can remain forever free!

When you attend your local parades, stand up, and give a salute the veterans who march by.

Remember, they are proud to be Americans, and so are we!

Therefore, we will not be able to update any Christmas Eve drawing results until we return on Friday evening .

However, you can still get your Lottery Power Picks for all tonight's drawings, and both Friday's Mega Millions & CDA Super 7 drawings!

Note: Based on the results of our Poll , we decided to recommend all Power & Mega balls in every drawing after Octorber 22, 2007. This change will make these lotteries consistent with the International and other "mega" ball based lotteries.
