Still Looking for More Odd White Balls in Saturday's Powerball Drawing

Since there were still no winners in Wednesday's Powerball drawing, the Annuity Jackpot has increased to $192 million and the cash option is approximately $100 million. If you take the annuity instead of the cash, you will be earning 4.21% on that money. Anyone who wins should seriously consider taking the annuity since your money will be safe!

As for our previous prediction, we find that in the past 12 drawings, eleven contained the expected 3/2 even-odd white ball split.

As more drawing pass with this occurrence, the tendency for a 4/1 or 5/0 even-odd split increases.

Thus, we continue to pedict that the next drawing will be heavily tilted toward 4 or 5 odd white balls (or vice versa).

Super Lotto Plus Draws Crazy Combo Last Wednesday

We always enjoy looking at the various combinations that were drawn in each Lottery. We thought that the Wednesday May 6 2009

Super Lotto Plus

combo was noteworthy of highlighting as a Crazy Combo. The 5 white ball combination was:

23 - 24 - 26 - 28 - 29
(with Megaball 11)

Why is this Crazy?

1. Note that all 5 numbers fell within the decade range of 20-29. With that constraint, there are only 252 possible combinations. Out of 1,533,939 possible sets, this is particularly rare.
2. The delta (diff between numbers) is symmetrical: 1 - 2 - 2 - 1
3. The Range was only 6 (difference between high and low number).

Unfortunately, this is the type of combo that would only be generated by a quick pick random number or one playing birthday dates. For someone playing straight combinations, this sequence would not be generated.
